Though looking at it it looks like it doesn't run the tests on OSX anyway (I guess it takes too long to build on mac on CI? Or it can't be done?) so I'm not sure that would catch anything. Side note for if it does turn out to be an OSX version thing - is it worth setting up another mac build on Travis for an earlier version of OSX? Looks like Travis offers 10.11 to 10.15 now. If you have OSX 10.13 or 10.14 and are reading this then it would be useful to know if it works, or indeed confirmation from other people on the existing situation (works on Catalina, doesn't work on Sierra). It looks like we have one report of it not working on Sierra (10.12) and one report of it working fine on Catalina (10.15). I know that there was someone having trouble with using pygame on mac on a second monitor, so perhaps there is some issue with certain types of mac display or non-primary displays. Since it doesn't seem to be a generic problem with macs it might be useful to narrow it down more.
